La Merluza is an association of fishermen that was born in 2007 with the aim of improving their fishing practices, commercialization and therefore quality of life, the same so that their voice is heard based on the needs they had at that time.

This organization carries out its fishing activities in Cabo Marzo because it is a rich and biodiverse place and because fishing is abundant, especially that of its company name hake and where they have a fishing camp, all these fishermen travel to this site for several weeks to carry out their tasks, as well as women who cook and wash their clothes, these are quite interesting dynamics.
