FISHERMEN ORGANIZATIONS
Currently, EcoGourmet works with fishing organizations in the Gulf of Salamanca in the Colombian Caribbean, the Exclusive Zone of Artisanal Fishing, the Sanquianga - Gorgona sub-region and Buenaventura in the Colombian Pacific.
These fishing organizations they meet a number of prerequisites to achieve sustainability. In this selection, points such as the organization of fishing communities, their ability to control, manage and monitor the species caught, as well as the use of good harvesting practices, were analyzed.
