The MASMEPEZ Women's Association began in 1995 but was legalized on 16  January 1997 with 16 women,  was formed by the need to support fishermen with the supply of good quality ice, preservation of the product and the purchase and sale of fish

It is an association with recognition in the sector, especially with the artisanal fishermen who provide us with their products and who are supplied with the ice we produce, as well as who see us as women committed to responsible fishing.

We also support the entire initiative of the GIC PA since we are an active part of this process with the application of responsible fishing in the Exclusive Zone of Artisanal Fishing ZEPA, we are a member of Fedepesca and we participate in the trainings that have been carried out in this municipality by SENA, Chamber of Commerce, AUNAP with its different agreements, etc.
